The Air Jordan VII (7) was released in late 1991/early 1992. By this time nothing could stop Michael and his confidence must have been at least 110%. Jordan also went off to the Olympics bringing home another gold medal for the USA. This of course with the unforgettable Dream Team of ‘92. The Air Jordans 7 is a very unique shoe in the Jordan line as well as a basketball shoe. The Air Jordan Retro 7 featured Huarache technology which made the shoe really stick to your foot. The shoe was much lighter weight than some of the previous Air Jordans as well. The Air Jordans Retro 7 was also unique in that it did not feature the “Nike Air” logo, a visible air unit, or clear soles.

Michael wins his third MVP award, his sixth scoring title, a finals MVP award, his second championship and his second Gold Medal. He ends an incredible season by sinking 35 points in one half of game one in the finals against Portland.
