The Air Jordan 16.5 unites two highly-desired classics in one spectacular shoe. The design merges the patent leather toe box and aggressive midsole of the AJ XVI with the signature double-row lacing and defiant silhouette of the AJ XVII. Fresh details like breathable ballistic mesh, a chrome midsole and Braille “Jordan” heel insignia result in striking kicks that make a statement on and off the court.

Air Jordan XVI.5 (16.5) Team Here is another mash up from Jordan Brand. The Air Jordan XVI.5 (16.5) combines the Air Jordan XVI (16) and the Air Jordan XVII (17). They feature a double row of lace holes, patent leather toe box and midsole, “chrome” outsole, and “Jordan” is detailed in Braille on the heel. Plus, the colorway is almost identical to the original Air Jordan XVI, which was released in 2001. The design comes together nicely and that means it’s another Jordan Brand hybrid success story.

The Air Jordan 16.5 Team is one of the smoothest Jordan Brand hybrids yet.  The Air Jordan XVI (16) and Air Jordan XVII (17) designs were similar enough that the combination has a natural feel to it, but because Mike rocked the AJ17s (and a few 16s as well) while playing for Washington, we didn’t see any red-on-black bangers like these during his second comeback.
